Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CineSphere, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use CineSphere.
What CineSphere Is
CineSphere is a movie and TV show discovery platform. We help you find content to watch by aggregating metadata from third-party databases, showing streaming availability, and providing personalised recommendations.
CineSphere is not a streaming service. We do not host, stream, or distribute any video content. All viewing happens on third-party platforms (Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, etc.) to which CineSphere links. You must have your own active subscriptions or accounts with those services.
Service Provided As-Is
CineSphere is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Streaming availability information is accurate or current
- Recommendations will meet your specific requirements
- Any third-party content links will remain active
Streaming Availability Disclaimer
Streaming availability information shown on CineSphere is sourced from The Movie Database (TMDB) and manually curated data. This information may be inaccurate, outdated, or vary by region.
Always confirm availability on the streaming platform before subscribing to a service based on information shown on CineSphere. CineSphere accepts no liability for decisions made based on availability information.
TMDB Data Attribution
Movie and TV metadata displayed on CineSphere is provided by The Movie Database (TMDB) under their terms of use. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed, certified, or otherwise approved by TMDB.
User Content
CineSphere allows you to save personal ratings, reviews, and notes (collectively "User Content"). All User Content is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to CineSphere servers.
You retain full ownership of your User Content. CineSphere does not claim any rights over your watchlist, ratings, or personal notes.
User Content is stored at your own risk. CineSphere is not liable for loss of User Content due to browser data clearing, device failure, or any other cause. We recommend regular exports via the watchlist export function.
Intellectual Property
Movie posters, backdrop images, cast photos, and other media displayed on CineSphere are the property of their respective copyright holders and are displayed for informational purposes via the TMDB API under TMDB's terms of service.
The CineSphere name, logo, and application code are the property of CineSphere. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute the CineSphere application without written permission.
Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use CineSphere to facilitate access to pirated or unlicensed content
- Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or systematically extract data from CineSphere
- Use CineSphere in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the TMDB API via CineSphere
- Use automated tools to bulk-access the CineSphere API without permission

These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. CineSphere is not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of any third-party service.
Analytics and Advertising
CineSphere uses Google Analytics 4 and may display advertisements via Google AdSense and/or Adcash. These services are only activated after you provide explicit consent. You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings → Privacy.
CineSphere does not sell personal data to third parties under any circumstances.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CineSphere and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to:

Changes to Service
CineSphere reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of CineSphere after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date above indicates when these Terms were last revised.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then binding arbitration if necessary.
